DineGo Configuration

This technical documentation outlines the step-by-step process of the DineGo configuration within the application.

DineGo

DineGo is a self-service technology that allows customers to place orders and complete transactions independently. DineGo has a user-friendly touch-screen interface that enables customers to navigate the menu and place their orders. DineGo contributes to faster order processing, reducing wait times for customers, and improving overall operational efficiency.

Steps for DineGo configuration

Step 1: Login

  1. Log in to your Dineplan account

Step 2: Dineplan Setup

Create Device

  1. On the homepage, you will find six distinct features, each designed to fulfill a specific function within DinePlan

  2. Select, Back-office

  1. Select, Settings → Devices

  1. Click Add Device, to add the device

  1. Enter the Device Type

  2. Enter the Name of your device

  3. Choose the Terminal, you are using

  4. Choose the Menu

  5. Choose the Department

  6. After entering the required information, Save the device

Turn On DineCall

  1. Select Settings

  1. Select, Local Setting → Service

  2. Turn on these options API Sever, DineCall, ExternalOrder

  3. Save the action

Step 3: Waiting Time

Note: This option is not mandatory. you can choose to activate it if you want the waiting time to be shown.

Create Action

  1. To create action Automation → Actions

  2. Click Add Action, which is on the right side of the screen

  1. Enter the Action Name

  2. Select, Action Type → Ask Question

  3. Enter the Question - Update Waiting Time

  4. Enter the Button description - 5-10 Min, 10-20 Min

Note: The question and button description are customizable.

  1. Save the information

  1. Now again go to Automation → Actions

  2. Click Add Action, which is on the right side of the screen

  1. Enter the Action Name

  2. Select, Action Type → Update Program Setting

  1. Enter the Setting Name - DineGoWaitingTime

  2. Enter the Setting Value - [: DineGoWaitingTime]

  3. Choose the update type - Update

  4. Choose the IsLocal - False

  5. Choose the Persist - True

  1. Save the action.

Automation Command

  1. Go to Automation → Automation command

  2. Select, Add automation command

  1. Enter the Name - Generate a name that is easily recognizable and identifiable

  1. Go to the Mapping tab

  1. Select Add, to add the mapping

  1. Save the Command

Rule Mapping

  1. Go to Automation → Rules

  2. Select Add rule

  1. Enter the Rule Name - Ru_Update_Waiting_Time

  2. Select the Event Name - AutomationcommandExecuted

  1. Select Add Custom constraint

  1. Choose Automationcommandname from the drop-down options

  2. Choose Equal from the drop-down options

  3. Choose DineGo Time from the drop-down option

  1. Click Select Actions

10. Select the waiting time and AC_Update_program_setting_DineGo

  1. Go to the Mapping tab

  1. Select Add, to add the mapping

  1. Save the Rule

Step 4: DineConnect Setup

  1. Log into the DineConnect account

Create Departments

  1. On the left side of the dashboard, Go → Department

  1. Select Create Department

  1. Create department screen displays, Add name, and select Department

  1. Then Save the created department

Create Payment Type

  1. On the left side of the dashboard, Go → Payment Type

  1. Select Create Payment type

  1. Create payment type screen displays, Add Name, and select the Payment Type

  1. Then Save the created payment type

Create Brand

  1. On the left side of the dashboard, Go → Brand

  1. Select Create Brand

  1. Enter the Name

  1. Choose the Location and Screen Menu

  1. Enter the Order Link

Note: The order link contains Device Identification( Found in Dineplan) + IP Address + Port

  1. Save the brand

  1. Select Actions → Edit

  1. Select the Department and click Add

  1. Save the information.

Note: In the settings, you can customize the logos and background.

Create Device

  1. On the left side of the dashboard, Go → Device

  1. Select Create Device

  1. Enter Name, Idle Time, and Pincode, and paste the Order Link

  1. Save the device

  1. Select Actions → Edit

  1. Choose the Brand and Add them

  1. Choose the Payment type and Add them

  1. Save the changes.

Step 5: DineGo Setup

  1. Install the DineGo App from Playstore

  2. After installing the app, tap the upper-left corner to navigate to the next page

  1. Select Add DineConnect

  1. Enter all the needed information and select the App needed to sync

5. Then click Save&Sync

  1. You can access the printer with this option

  1. Users can choose the printer type within the printer settings, such as USB, Bluetooth, or IP. Additionally, they can customize header and footer text for printing documents.

  1. You can access the Queue with this option

  1. We can set Prefix, Suffix, Start Number, End Number, etc in the queue setting.
